Technical Terms for Review or Analysis                                          


CAMERA -
Angles -
(birds eye view) low angle shot creates superiority and high angle shots for timid and weak characters. Worms eye view (looking up from the ground).
Shots - (zoom, close up, over shoulder etc).
Movements - (panning)to show us the area and set up the situation for the audience to see.
TRACKING IS WHEN FOLLOWING THE ANGLE.


LIGHTING -
Low key lighting (when it is dark)Natural lighting - normal like sunlight
Artificial lighting - using lights to make the light and put it where ever you like.

EDITING -
Montage editing is where you see series of clips were it doesn't necessarily make sense but it makes sense at the end (don't tell a story in a sequence).
Continuity they are a sequence that makes sense (opposite of montage).
also involve transitions (fade in or fade outs, black outs at the end of the scene etc). basically from one clip to the next.


MISE en SCENE -
French word which means 'put in the
scene‘ which is everything we see is M en S, its what the Director decides to put in the scene.
make up and costume is apart of M en S. Why is her make up like she's a model?


SOUND -
diagetic sound is the sound that was created when filming and non - diagetic sound it when a sound was put in when editing like sound FX.
